Thank You Rutland!
Planet Aid UK and Rutland County Council would like to thank the residents of Rutland for their generous donations of clothes, shoes and electrical items since these were included in the new kerbside collection scheme which started two weeks ago. The new scheme has been very well received and comments from local people have been very positive, with some saying that it provides an excellent service to local residents whilst, in turn, helping to support important development aid projects in Africa and India.
We would also like to make people aware that the Planet Aid UK vehicles that carry out the collection all bear the Planet Aid name and logo. Therefore, if you see any red or green bags being collected by any other means please record the vehicle registration number, if possible, and report it to us as soon as possible by calling 01536-400721.
