COP27 Climate Change conference in Egypt

The Federation Humana People to People will be attending and exhibiting at the upcoming COP27, which will be held from the 6th -18th November. COP27 is the largest annual event on climate change, organized by the UNFCCC where governments come together to track progress towards UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, the Kyoto Protocol, and the Paris Agreement and make commitments going forward. The Federation will be participating in the official program with a stand and a side event panel discussion.

Award For Rutendo

Planet Aid UK’s leadership was invited to the awards held on the 19th of October- part of the third annual ‘Black in the Ivory’ conference from the University of Northampton’s Global Ethnic Majority (GEM) staff network. The theme this year was ‘Phenomenal Women of Colour’. Ten women were awarded for their work in the local community of Northamptonshire, and Rutendo Nyatsine – Planet Aid UK’s Promotion Manager was one of them.

Our Rugby Shop's 1st Birthday

Our Rugby Shop's 1st Birthday

On Saturday 3rd September we celebrated the 1st birthday of our shop on Church Street in Rugby.It was a fantastic day which was very well prepared by our team, Heather, Ruth and our four volunteers. More than 100 people visited the shop. 339 items were sold, and 360 new items were added to the stock. It was the busiest day we’ve had since we opened the shop in September last year.
