Volunteer Tree Planting 2014

     

Planet Aid UK are very pleased to announce that a date has now been agreed for the volunteer tree-planting day on the Bulwick Estates near Corby which is Saturday 29th November. The area has been ploughed, the ground prepared for planting and deer fences have been erected around the perimeter of the site. We will be planting a mixture of oak trees, small leaf lime trees and birch trees.The planting will begin at approximately 9.30am and will finish at 3.30pm with a half an hour break for lunch at around 12 o’clock.

With regard to the Humana People to People worldwide tree-planting programme to plant 14 million trees in 2014, I can confirm that so far 12 million trees have been planted in Humana projects around the world.
